I dont even eat bacon, and I want to eat this..

1 unsliced loaf of (round is preferable) sourdough bread
8-12 oz cheddar cheese, thinly sliced
3 oz bag Oscar Mayer Real Bacon bits
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 Tbsp Ranch dressing mix

Using a sharp bread knife cut the bread going both directions. Do not cut through the bottom crust. Place slices of cheese in between cuts. Sprinkle bacon bits on bread, making sure to get in between cuts. Mix together butter and Ranch dressing mix. Pour over bread. Wrap in foil the entire loaf in foil and place on a baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Unwrap. Bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until cheese is melted.

I think I might try this, only in a veggie version.. YUM!

Heart Healthy Pancakes :)

  • 1 packet TJ's Heart Healthy Whole Grain Blueberry Instant Oatmeal
  • 1 cup TJ's Multigrain Pancake Mix
  • 1/2 cup Milk (any kind is fine)
  • 1 Cage Free Large Egg
  • 1 tablespoon Canola Oil
  • 1/4 cup Freeze Dried Blueberries
Prepare the oatmeal according to the directions on the box and allow it to cool to room temperature. Combine the pancake mix with the milk, egg and oil and mix together. Stir in the prepared oatmeal, then carefully fold in the freeze dried berries. Now you are ready to make pancakes: drop approximately 1/4 cup of batter onto a hot griddle (or more, or less, depending on preferred pancake diameter); cook on one side or two minutes or until bubbles form and then flip to other side and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Repeat until you have a stack. (Optional: top with syrup, fresh blueberries or a dusting of powdered sugar.)

Beat the eggs, milk and any spices you desire (salt, pepper, garlic powder...) and pour over the bread.
